Denise Elder, JP

Denise Elder, JP

Denise has joined our practice as a secretary after working with a Professor of hand surgery and a rheumatologist for several years.  Prior to this Denise managed a private orthopaedic hospital in the Western Suburbs for over 20 years and consequently comes to us with a broad knowledge of the health care system.

Outside of work Denise has many interests but her main passion in her life is swimming which has carried her to several areas of the world, including Italy, The Dardanelles, Hawaii, USA, Fiji, Vanuatu and France to name a few.  Being a keen ocean swimmer, Denise swims all year round braving the elements and the challenges that encompass this outdoor sport.

When Denise isn’t swimming or trekking she enjoys a good book, a game of bridge, visits to the Art Gallery, live theatre or film going.   Travel plays a large part in her life and Denise has lived abroad both in England and in Italy, managing to learn a few vital words of Italian and embracing the culture.

Linda joined Dr Pope’s practice in October 2015 with a strong medical administration background. She has worked for many years as an Office Manager in a general Physiotherapy practice, and as a receptionist in specialty hand physiotherapy clinic, but also in Radiology.

Linda lives with her husband and two grown children in Denistone.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, tinkering in the garden, movies and reading. As part of a large extended family she enjoys spending time with family and friends whenever possible.

Linda and her husband recently spent some time travelling throughout Europe but plan to travel more now that their children have left school.
