Practice Management


Rebecca Pope, RN

Rebecca is Dr Pope’s Practice Manager who oversees the optimal running of the main rooms in North Sydney and also Burwood. She is a Registered Nurse who graduated in 1998 from the University of Western Sydney.

She then undertook positions St George hospital in Kogarah specialising in High Dependency Nursing (HDU) and later in her career, Intensive Care Nursing (ICU). She also held a position at Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick for a few years in ICU, both having a high number of Neurosurgical patients being tertiary referral hospitals in the State.

Rebecca then took on the role of Practice Manager and her background in Nursing has enabled her to build the practice to cater for Neurosurgical needs.

Rebecca then completed a Certificate IV in Professional Practice Management at the University of New England.

Outside her work busy commitments, she has an active interest in social and competitive running, personal training, and climbing. She will make it a priority to service your needs through the practice in the best possible way. Anything you can offer to improve our service, Rebecca will be only too happy to hear.

Linda Purcell

Linda joined Dr Pope’s practice in October 2015 with a strong medical administration background. She has worked for many years as an Office Manager in a general Physiotherapy practice, and as a receptionist in specialty hand physiotherapy clinic, but also in Radiology.

Linda lives with her husband and two grown children in Denistone.

In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog, tinkering in the garden, movies and reading. As part of a large extended family she enjoys spending time with family and friends whenever possible.

Linda and her husband recently spent some time travelling throughout Europe but plan to travel more now that their children have left school.

She hopes she can bring her compassion, medical knowledge and efficiency to help make the patient’s experience with Dr Pope an easy one.

Catherine Ell

Catherine joined Dr Pope’s practice in 2010, and has a Medical Secretarial background, formally in radiology, both in New Zealand and Australia.  More recently, Catherine has studied sculpture and worked part-time as an art/diversional therapist at a women’s rehabilitation centre. Over the past 7 years, Catherine has exhibited her sculptures in joint exhibitions at Eramboo World Studies, and also at the Sydney Botanical Gardens.  Catherine resides in Pittwater with her husband and three children.
